ABOUT

My soul has grown deep like the rivers – Langston Hughes (American poet & activist)

I’m a firm believer that once you’re in a good place with your mind and your body, your soul will follow.

Psychologically speaking, we tend to move through our daily lives being controlled by the ego. Most of the time, this isn’t such a problem. The ego has its place and its purpose. It’s when we begin to allow little annoyances to become drama and when we let the tiniest doubt paralyze us with fear and keep us from moving, that’s when we have allowed the ego to take full control.

Unlike the ego, the soul is fearless. It will always move you safely in the directions of your purpose, no matter how uncertain it seems. Living without ego means living in a higher state of consciousness, not getting bogged down in details and hows, not letting fear hold us back. It doesn’t mean living a life without problems. It simply means you look at those problems differently. Not as failures, but as lessons.

Now that we all want to live on this higher plain, the question is, how do we get there? The philosophy of living by the soul has been around since ancient times. Those teachings are still practiced today. We can help you through those lessons, whether it be meditation, chakra balancing or breathing techniques. Even being out in nature every day can help bring that awareness.

Let your soul lead you. Let it quiet the constant noise and static. In letting it rise up, it will bring only peace and joy.
